Chris, Zarah and Jeannie, the RESPECT Support Team would like to welcome you to the programme and look forward to assisting you along the way. We are excited about helping you to overcome your challenges, unlock your potential and know that you can, with some support, achieve your goals.
Chris Fox
Chris is a father of three children who enjoys taking on new challenges. Prior to starting work with RESPECT he spent 18 months working with unemployed female and male ex-offenders helping them to find employment opportunities and training in the construction industry. He has been involved with a number of businesses in different sectors including running his own restaurant for over three years.
Zarah Lloyd
Hi, I am Zarah. I am a 32 year old mother of a 6 year old boy. I am part of the RESPECT support team, who will help to develop the potential in you, both mentally and socially and help make you job ready. Having been a heroin addict for ten years, and having been out of prison for 6 months after receiving a four year sentence, I understand how difficult it is to be productive, when all you've felt in your life is heartache, knock backs and a constant battle to survive. But, there is hope. The only person who can change your lifestyle is you. You have the power within yourself and I hope to help you bring that to the surface. Trust me, if I can do it, so can you!!
Jeannie Clarke
Hi, my name is Jeannie and I am also part of the Respect Support Team. Having been a single mom I know how difficult it can be to fit into society. It can be a lonely place, with no support and very little understanding. I consider myself to be a “grafter” and at one time was juggling eight jobs to survive. I have also been the victim of domestic violence, which dented my confidence and my self esteem, but I made it through to the other side and hope I can help you to do the same. I can't promise that I will have all of the answers, because I am still learning myself. What I can promise is that I will be there to listen, support, and encourage you whilst you start on a new chapter of your own journey.
